In this project, I worked as the Chief of Marketing and Design for the custom cake brand No Worries Cakes.
My responsibilities included creating promotional materials, developing brand communication strategies, and executing collaborations with CHIHO and TrustMe Studio.
For TrustMe Studio, I designed branded packaging, exclusive cakes, and a full-scale advertising campaign.
ABOUT PROJECT
This project addresses the demand for stylish and unconventional cakes in a market saturated with ordinary sweets. Our cakes were completely unique—no two were alike—and they embodied the ugly-cake aesthetic, offering something truly extraordinary.
Idea
We enhanced the brand’s presence on social media and redefined its communication strategy: cakes are not just for special occasions but also for casual gatherings and friendly
get-togethers. We utilized Instagram, Telegram, media outreach, and collaborations to amplify brand awareness.
One of the most creative solutions was a promotional video featuring Milla Jovovich in her iconic Resident Evil look.
In the video, a virus breaches containment, infecting a cake
and transforming it into an ugly-cake. TrustMe Studio, with
its medical-themed branding, symbolically “controls” the cake’s mutation, reinforcing the idea that every design is uniquely monstrous.
